Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

Location: UAE

Requirements:

1. UAE National with a family book is mandatory.
2. Freshers interested in working within the site-based logistics field are welcome.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Support the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as required.
2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station and on the road.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure that every shipment meets or exceeds set operational KPIs.
4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, providing coaching when needed.
5. Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
6. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and improve quality.
7. Interview candidates for associate roles.
8. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed.
9. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager in tracking and reporting site performance.
10. Help with training and mentoring new associates, ensuring they have the knowledge needed to perform their tasks successfully.
11. Follow up on and resolve any process-related issues as required.
12. Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
13. Resource your function from a personal standpoint, including training needs, absence, performance management, and productivity monitoring.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
