Job Purpose

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the business through the planning, organization, leadership and management of field operations with a strategic mindset. The role has an overall responsibility for safety, quality, and financial health of the operation. This includes managing risk, sales, service quality, personnel, business development, and various functions such as accounting, purchasing, manufacturing, health & safety, and human resources.

Responsibilities
  1. Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology, and best business practices to exceed customer expectations.
  2. Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience in Tubular Running Services, with preference for experience managing large scope operations on land rigs in the Middle East.
  3. Experience in the execution of day-to-day operations and product-related projects.
  4. 2+ years P&L experience.

Skills
  1. Comprehensive understanding of the Product Line (Tubular Running Services) and technical job planning requirements.
  2. Good understanding of Engineering, Service Quality, and Sales.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions.
  4. Ability to work in high-pressure situations, balancing both client and business expectations.
  5. Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) and compliance.
  6. Ability to accurately assess, solve, implement, and communicate solutions to problems.
  7. Understanding of continuous improvement.
  8. Ability to manage, develop, and coach teams across organizational boundaries.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  10. Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, and planning skills.
  11. Team player.
  12. Strong organizational and effective communication skills.
  13. Strategic thinking skills.
  14. Problem-solving capabilities.
  15. Intermediate knowledge of JDE, Hyperion, 5 Why, Fishbone, Salesforce systems.
  16. Fluent in English and Arabic.
