Mastercard will provide a dedicated operations professional with 8-10 years of banking experience for the role of Settlement and Reconciliation (Operations) Specialist, contracted exclusively for the Client for 12 (twelve) months.
The roles and responsibilities of the Settlement and Reconciliation (Operations) Specialist are the following:
Liaise with the Client's card operations team to set up the settlement process flow for new Mastercard cards;
Manage daily settlement and transfer of funds;
Manage reconciliation and investigation of breaks on card-related processes;
Manage postings to clear breaks;
Support customer credits and communication;
Stand ready to support key operational activities handled by the Client and the Mastercard Technical Account Management team, if needed, including:
Liaising with Mastercard to set up new ICA (Interbank Card Association) and Bank Identification Numbers (BINs) for new card products, including providing required parameters;
Defining business requirements to configure new products;
Defining test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing for new card products;
Liaising with fraud and risk teams to define BIN ranges for new Mastercard debit and credit cards;
Liaising with third-party vendors if required (e.g., card printing vendors and couriers).
