Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).

Job Overview
The Operations Shift Supervisor executes the activities pertaining to the operation of an entire unit of the Plant, operating in compliance with quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations, and established procedures. The supervisor can operate in one of the following fields according to the specific project: Power, Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical. He/she reports to the Operation Manager and is assigned to the Project by the AVIMP Head of Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain operation under safe conditions, following written instructions of the COM to keep the plant/unit/equipment at maximum efficiency.
Organize and manage field operations of the assigned team, ensuring implementation of Plant Safety procedures in emergencies.
Ensure safe conditions for maintenance teams before issuing the Permit to Work (PTW).
Issue PTW and ensure safety conditions are met during maintenance, applying lockout procedures.
Apply all safety procedures in compliance with the Site Safety Plan.
Inform the incoming shift supervisor about plant conditions and ongoing tests or operations with a written notice in the logbook.
Manage communication with the local electrical grid coordinator after synchronization tests, if necessary.
Conduct checks on the plant systems and running equipment to identify potential issues.
Monitor alarms and blocks on the DCS alarm page.
Provide assistance to the maintenance team during their work.
Report any issues that arise during the shift in the control room logbook.
Fill in the control room logbook with necessary remarks about operations, maintenance, trips, and incidents during the shift.
Operate in shifts on a 24/7 basis.
Knowledge & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any Engineering course.
Experience
At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction of large oil & gas plants/EPC projects.
