Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Client in the travel industry.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our travel agency. This includes coordinating with various departments, developing and implementing operational strategies, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the travel industry and be passionate about promoting sustainable and responsible travel practices.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the travel agency.
  2. Coordinate with various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  3. Monitor and analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes and solutions.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  5. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the travel agency, including booking and reservation systems, customer inquiries, and complaints.
  6. Train and mentor staff to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, travel and tourism, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in operations management within the travel industry.
  3. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficient in travel agency software and booking systems.
  7. Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
