The Operations Team

The Operations Team is the backbone of our organization responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of various aspects of your business. This team is multifaceted, consisting of both technical and non-technical support professionals. They work collaboratively to manage day-to-day operations, resolve issues, and provide essential support to internal and external stakeholders.
The Operations Team is indispensable for maintaining efficiency, managing resources, and delivering high-quality services. They are the problem solvers, troubleshooters, and coordinators who keep our business running seamlessly.

As a Tapster you will:

1. Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of internal processes across various departments to ensure smooth operations and scalability.
2. Develop and standardize workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support) to ensure operational needs align with business goals.
4. Oversee and manage integrations with external vendors such as email and SMS service providers, CRM systems, and other third-party solutions used in the operations and customer experience process.
5. Work closely with technical teams and vendors to ensure that integrations are seamless, up-to-date, and meet the operational requirements of the business.
6. Ensure that vendor systems and services are optimized and monitored for performance, aligned with our payment processing systems.
7. Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
8. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system performance.
9. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure consistent service delivery.

What you will bring to the party:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
2. 5 years of experience in operations management, ideally within fintech, payments, or a related technology-driven industry.
3. Proven experience with payment gateways, payment processing systems, and APIs.
4. Strong technical understanding of payment technologies and integration tools.
5. Experience managing third-party integrations (email/SMS platforms, CRMs, cloud services, etc.) in a high-volume operational environment.
6. Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) to track and report on key operational metrics.
7. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart).
8. Experience implementing automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
9. Knowledge of AI-driven tools and technologies that can enhance operational efficiency (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics, machine learning for decision-making).
10. Ability to drive initiatives to adopt AI-driven automation in payment processing, customer service, and other operational areas.
11. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and optimizing processes.
12. Experience designing and improving operational workflows and a track record of successful process implementation.
13. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
