Operations Manager

Car Fare Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of Car Fare Rent A Car. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, streamlining processes, and driving business growth across both divisions. This role demands strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and in-depth knowledge of the automotive and car rental industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

1. Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency and profitability across both divisions.
2. Oversee day-to-day operations, including fleet management, vehicle maintenance, logistics, and monitor out of service vehicles.
3. Coordinate and manage the seamless integration of operational processes between the Rent A Car, Workshop and Used Car divisions.
4. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
5. Drive process optimization to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.

2. Team Leadership and Development:

1. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of managers and staff across both divisions.
2. Ensure team alignment with the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
3. Conduct training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge in both rental and sales operations.
4. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

3. Customer Experience and Service Quality:

1. Develop and enforce high standards of customer service across both divisions.
2. Implement feedback mechanisms to gather customer insights and improve service quality.
3. Address escalated customer issues and resolve conflicts promptly.

4. Financial and Budget Management:

1. Develop and monitor budgets, control operational costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
2. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
3. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

5. Compliance and Safety:

1. Ensure that all operations adhere to relevant legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
2. Develop and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and customers.
3. Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance records.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, Automotive Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive, car rental industry & pre-owned industry.
3. Proven experience in managing multi-division operations.
4. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management or automotive software.
7. Proficient in Project Management Software.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. Valid driver's license.
