Operations Manager

A leading Bank is actively recruiting an Operations Manager for their Umm Al Quwain office.

The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Management of banking operations including account opening, maintenance, and closure ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead and coordinate automation initiatives.
• Oversee and respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and identify root causes, implementing improvements in processes to enhance service delivery.
• Build and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders.
• Maintain strong system controls to safeguard the operations environment.
• Handle internal, external, and regulatory audits.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree. An MBA is a plus.
• Must have proven experience as an Operations Manager within the Banking/Financial Services industry within the UAE.
• Experience in handling banking operations in a centralized environment.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
