Operations Executive – General Insurance, Individual Medical – Dubai

The primary functions of this position are to provide quality service to clients for the quote to issuance process for new business/renewals for individual medical insurance inquiries. The Operations Executive will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts while supporting the team by responding to queries, follow-ups internally and externally, and record keeping.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Receive new business requests from direct clients/consultants – analyze, suggest and obtain adequate individual medical quotes through all channels.
2. Ensure quote to issuance process for new business and renewals are within agreed SLA, maintain tracker for missed SLA’s.
3. Endorsement activity – end to end.
4. Utilize workflows and processes to initiate and maintain contact with clients as well as to update coverages, review exposures, and discuss opportunities for account management.
5. Accurate record keeping and case management as per business process requirements.

Requirements:

1. Experience in individual medical (new business and renewals) – UAE medical insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis for a minimum of 2 years.
2. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this knowledge clearly to clients and insurers.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
4. Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload and support the team.
5. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and go the extra mile.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft.
