Operations Executive, Amazon Now, UFG

If so, Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations is looking for an experienced Operations Lead with a strong record of achieving results. We are looking to hire an Operations Lead (UAE) to join a team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers, and run 3P Store Operations. You will ensure Amazon policies – including attendance tracking – are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. This includes motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback on associates’ performance – including under the roof / on the road productivity, quality, and safety - as a means for achieving or exceeding Amazon expectations. Key job responsibilities

1. Managing, on a daily basis, end-to-end operations for either one large site or a combination of small sites, supervising store operations.
2. Meeting customer-facing metrics, while maintaining cost targets and upholding safety and morale of the team reporting to you.
3. Driving performance management of your team members. Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates.
4. Continuously improve the operations process and attain a sustained level of performance improvement.
5. Conducting 4M and 5S audits for the stores on a daily basis.
6. Stand-in for Area Manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. A Bachelor’s degree holder with experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
2. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
3. Proficiency in MS Excel.
4. Ability to travel to different stores within UAE.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. A self-motivated person with the ability to motivate the associates / team members.
2. Strong execution skills, action-oriented, go-getter.
3. Resourceful to identify the way to get things done using limited resources.
4. Ability to work under pressure situations.
5. Ability to work in ambiguous situations and to come out with solutions as per the situations faced.
6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. 1-3 years of experience in managing a process and people as a lead.
8. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous.
