Job description

Welcome the guests in a warm and friendly manner.

  1. Ensure all rides and attractions rules and regulations are enforced at all times.
  2. Ensure all rides and attractions start up and closedown procedures are completed correctly.
  3. Organize and regulate queuing systems for all rides and attractions.
  4. Ensure height measuring is conducted accurately and efficiently.
  5. Ensure ride platforms are organized for operation.
  6. Explain, distribute and fit ride safety clothing to guests that require it.
  7. Ensure that guests load and unload from rides and attractions safely and efficiently.
  8. Check all ride restraints, safety belts and attraction equipment properly to ensure guests are safe and comfortable at all times.
  9. Check safety equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency exits and emergency routes).
  10. Communicate clearly with guests, colleagues and management at all times.
  11. Be able to use the ride stop and emergency stop functions effectively and confidently.
  12. Deliver fun and memorable experiences to the guests.
  13. Open and close the rides and attractions to guests.
  14. Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  15. Record all details of the daily operation of a ride or attraction (downtimes, throughputs and colleague breaks).
  16. Ensure that the daily ride documentation is kept up to date, tidy and accurate.
  17. Handle and lead ride downtimes and emergency situations as required.
  18. Ensure a clean and safe environment.
  19. This position requires a large amount of time spent standing and talking.
  20. Ability to stay focused at all times, during long shifts and quiet/busy periods in the park.
  21. Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
  22. Ability to work within a team and independently.
  23. Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a passion for guest interaction and communication.
  24. Speak and understand the English language.
  25. Ability to work under pressure and during long shifts.
  26. Integrity – being honest and ethical.
  27. Higher secondary or equivalent education.
  28. 1 year of rides and attractions experience in another theme park.
  29. Speak and understand the Arabic language.
  30. Creativity and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers to work-related problems.

For Operator position training:

  1. Ability to manage small teams.
  2. Ability to concentrate uninterrupted for long periods of time.
  3. Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  4. Ability to multi-task.
  5. Ability to oversee the safety of all colleagues and guests at a particular ride or attraction.
