Key Accountabilities
Manage teams of people who will monitor the administration of leases, tenant relationship management, collection of rent, and renewal of leases on all responsible contracts.
Manage the PM teams who will liaise with the Projects department to ensure new assets/properties are incorporated onto the Property Management system.
Ensure compliance with government requirements and highlight any discussion points prior to signing contracts with government clients for leasing properties.
Ensure compliance with all insurance procedures for all responsible contracts.
Ensure the appropriate action is taken in response to any legal notice received in relation to the managed property.
Prepare all site-specific Standard Operating Procedures.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports/statistics.
Work alongside the Contract Managers to develop, innovate and operate property management systems and processes.
Identify needs for continuous improvement on the contracts.
Manage tenant, client, and stakeholder communications and relationships.
Liaise with Contract and Finance Managers to develop tenant service charge budgets.
What We Are Looking For in Our Candidates:
A proven track record of instituting continuous improvement and change management.
Record of engagement with a wide range of stakeholders and wider commercial and public sector stakeholders.
Expert in development and implementation of best practice technical documentation.
Extensive experience of working internationally (preference for Middle East / UAE).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Specific Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial and retail property management within the Middle East.
Experience in the use of estate/property management systems.
Practical working knowledge of all aspects of property management operations is required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in people management.
Constantly updating knowledge of legislation relating to property management.
Use knowledge of real estate and property management in order to make recommendations to the client.
Able to actively create tailored solutions for clients/tenants.
Be able to build and maintain tenant/customer relationships.
Be able to apply legal principles of tenancy agreements and efficiently apply processes to be followed.
Knowledge of all local and national regulatory and procedural requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with other parts of the Housing Services Department and other departments within the General Services Division.
