Job Description
The Operations Manager at Ali & Sons Interiors Division will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring project efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality, and achieving client satisfaction. This role demands a strong background in interior design or fit-out projects, exceptional leadership, and operational management skills to drive excellence across all projects.
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily operations, ensuring all projects are executed within budget, scope, and schedule.
- Monitor project progress and address challenges proactively.
- Streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Project Management
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and contractors to meet project goals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of designers, project managers, and site supervisors.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team performance.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.
Client Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients.
- Ensure client requirements are fully understood and implemented in project execution.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and maintain strong relationships.
Budget and Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for projects and operations.
- Monitor financial performance and implement measures to optimize profitability.
- Approve expenditures and ensure alignment with financial goals.
Vendor and Supplier Management
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance and enforce quality standards.
Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control procedures to uphold design and construction standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to specifications and timelines.
Reporting and Analytics
- Generate periodic reports on operational performance, project progress, and financial metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in operations or project management within the interior design or fit-out industry. Proven track record of managing large-scale projects successfully.
