Who are we looking for:

An Operation Executive (Land Freight) that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating air and sea freight shipments including handling day-to-day operations, collaborating with internal teams, and liaising with our vendors to ensure the smooth flow of shipments. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

What you’ll do:

As a talented Operation Executive (Land Freight), no two days look the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following duties and responsibilities:

Workflow and Operation Management

  • Manage and coordinate cross-border land freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide daily updates to clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with transporters, drivers, border agents, consignees, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating competitive pricing for cost-effective shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and manage necessary documentation.
  • Optimize shipping costs without compromising quality.
  • Address operational challenges promptly and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure timely & accurate data entry in the software and prompt invoicing to clients.
  • Stay informed about border regulations, current border conditions, and destination clearance requirements to ensure seamless and compliant operations.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their shipments and address inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare operational reports and communicate vendor services issues to management.

Operations Reports

  • Create daily reports for all services rendered by the operations department and ensure that all services are updated in the system.
  • Prepare timely and accurate operations statements and reports as required.

What makes you unique:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, or in a related field, or higher.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' Land Freight operations experience.
  • Language requirement for Transport Coordination: Proficiency in English & Hindi/Urdu is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
