OPD Nurse (Pulmonology) with DHA

A premier healthcare facility in Dubai, located in a vibrant residential and retail area, offers world-class, patient-centered medical care across various specialties and is seeking a dedicated and compassionate OPD Nurse to join our Pulmonology Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient care and possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. This role requires working closely with pulmonologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Duties:
2. Assist pulmonologists during outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests, and minor procedures.
3. Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
4. Conduct preliminary assessments, including taking vital signs and recording symptoms.
5. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and inhalation therapies under supervision.
6. Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
7. Provide emotional support to patients and ensure their comfort during consultations and treatments.
8. Follow up with patients regarding test results, medication adherence, and future appointments.
9. Operational Duties:
10. Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of consultation rooms and equipment.
11. Maintain compliance with infection control and healthcare regulations.
12. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Education:
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
3. Valid nursing license in the UAE or eligibility for licensure.
4. Experience:
5. Minimum 4 years of nursing experience in an outpatient setting of pulmonology department.
6. UAE experience is not mandatory but will be an advantage.

8. Proficiency in clinical assessments and nursing procedures.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
