Job description
Otolaryngologist Responsibilities
- Treating nosebleeds, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, infected mastoids, and sinusitis.
- Assisting patients with a limited or altered sense of smell.
- Treating conditions of the ears, upper pharynx, oral cavity, larynx, nose, face, and neck.
- Making charts about the history of all the patients for reference.
- Treating patients with tumors in the head or neck or patients with defects in the ear, nose, or throat.
- Collaborating with other medical practitioners.
Otolaryngologist Requirements- A medical degree.
- A license from the state is required to practice.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.
- Good organizational ability.
- The ability to work well alone and within a team.
