Produce structural/system models using Sesam GeniE, FEMAP, STAAD-Pro, and SACS.
Develop local calculations using spreadsheets/Mathcad.
Perform structural analysis for new platforms and platform modifications.
Manage structural engineering design and any design changes within budget and schedule.
Promote cost reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives.
Provide technical supervision of project-designated structural designers and draftsmen.
Benchmark structural design/drafting to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance system relevant to the project.
Requirements:
Experience working in a structural engineering team within a large multi-discipline project team.
Previous experience in minimum facility platform design, including substructure, topsides, and bridges.
Comprehensive understanding of structural analysis, including dynamic loading, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, and dropped object scenarios.
Familiarity with API, DNV, AISC, and BS codes.
Knowledge of writing Java scripts for Sesam GeniE is preferred.
