Offshore Pipeline Engineer

The Role

The Candidate Will Report Operationally To The Lead Pipeline Engineer And Functionally To The Head Of Pipeline Discipline With Regards To His/her Main Tasks Listed Hereunder:

1. Study and try to understand the overall project pipeline and subsea flexible scope.
2. Study and implement the requirements of pipeline, riser and subsea flexible design basis and COMPANY codes and standards/specifications in design.
3. Support on preparation of technical material specifications, datasheets, MR/SR, TBE and technical construction specifications for pipelines and subsea flexibles.

Ideal Profile

Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering bachelor's degree from a reputed college/university. Post graduation in Engineering and/or membership in professional bodies will have added advantage.

Working Experience

Minimum 5 years total working experience, out of this minimum 3 years hands-on experience shall be in subsea pipelines and flexibles design calculation and stress analysis for the oil and gas industry.

Software Skills

Adequate working knowledge of software such as Auto PIPE/CEASAR II, ORCAFLEX, Sage Profile, DNV Software's (STF101, Stable Line, Fat Free), Mathcad, MS Packages, and AutoCAD, etc. Basic knowledge and interest in developing subsea pipeline and flexible design calculation sheet, python programming, and VB Macro development experience will be given preference. The candidate shall have basic knowledge in subsea pipeline design codes (DNV-ST-F101, DNV-RP-F105, DNV-RP-F109, DNV-RP-F114 & DNV-RP-F110 etc.) and other applicable standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, BS, ISO, MSS, NACE etc.
