Facility Overview:

Mubadala Health Dubai in Jumeirah provides multidisciplinary medical, pediatric, and surgical specialties. Our state-of-the-art facility houses 96 consultation rooms, 5 operating rooms, and 2 endoscopy suites, as well as an in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, a radiology department, dedicated rehabilitation gyms, and dedicated procedure rooms, all of which offer a full continuum of care to our patients as they navigate through their healthcare journey.

Role Overview:

The Officer, Pre-Authorization, ensures timely and accurate submission of pre-authorization requests, supporting efficient patient care.

Responsibilities

1. Stay updated on medical codes and regulatory standards.
2. Ensure accurate and timely submission of pre-authorization requests.
3. Verify request accuracy, including required documents and patient information.
4. Coordinate with clinical teams to clarify procedures and diagnoses.
5. Track and follow up on prior authorization requests proactively.
6. Communicate with insurance companies, clinicians, and patients as needed.
7. Document and maintain authorization details in the hospital system.
8. Comply with health, safety, and infection control regulations.

Qualifications

Education: Healthcare professional with Bachelor degree or graduate with an accredited Diploma course from a related healthcare field.

Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Certificate and Licensure: Regularly updated Certificate in Coding from accredited institutions.
