Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee the planning function across the area of responsibility.
2. Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects and tenders within portfolios.
3. Lead the deployment and implementation of the business’ planning and project controls procedures across the portfolio.
4. Responsible for planning on larger or more complex projects, minor business units, or parts of larger business units.
5. Advise on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
6. Manage planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programmes.
7. Oversee planning/scheduling, Earned Value Management (EVM), and project controls methodologies.
8. Influence complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
9. Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
10. Create plans and analyze trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
11. Support senior management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development initiatives.
12. Lead the planning team, providing leadership and direction through managers/team.
13. Inspire and empower individuals within the portfolio to deliver high-quality standards and outputs.
14. Undertake tasks required to fulfill the requirements of the project/assignment.
15. Provide performance management, technical & career development, and coaching.
16. Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
