Responsibilities:

Educate patients and their families on coping strategies, home exercises, and ergonomic adaptations
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in medical records
Recommend modifications to living or work environments to improve accessibility and safety
Train patients in the use of specialized tools or equipment to assist with daily tasks
Stay updated with new techniques, research, and best practices in occupational therapy
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Previous experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or private practice preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, assistive technologies, and rehabilitation strategies
Empathy, patience, and adaptability in handling different patient needs
Ability to design and implement creative treatment plans tailored to individual patients
