To provide clinical nursing services as part of ongoing health evaluation and health education programs providing promotive and preventative care, working hand-in-hand with the Head OH Nurse and entire Occupational Health Services Centre team to deliver up-to-date and best practice quality care and occupational health services.
Principal Accountabilities
Receives and responds to requests for all types of health evaluations from ENOC HRD and affiliates to ensure requests are processed and the clients informed of the outcome of their requests.
Prepares and completes relevant sections of the health evaluation documentation under the supervision of the Head Occupational Health Nurse to ensure appropriate and accurate health data recording.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for employees, adhering to legal and privacy requirements.
Ensures adequate stock of medical consumables and clinic supplies to ensure in-date consumables are available when required.
Supervises in the collection and dispatchment of biological samples to and from the laboratory to ensure biological sampling is carried out appropriately and the resulting data is available for the clinical evaluations.
Carries out clinical routine procedures both at the clinic and on-site as part of the health evaluation system.
Gives presentations to clients to further their awareness and knowledge of health issues.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of occupational health and public safety.
Participates in internal audits and other ISO Management System issues as part of the overall management system.
Any other related OH task or activities specified and delegated by the Head OH Nurse.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse (DHA)
Preferably an Associate's Degree in Occupational Health Nursing (or anything equivalent or similar)
At least 5 years experience in nursing, preferably in occupational health setting
Basic computer literacy (eg Microsoft office applications)
Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software applications Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels of the Organization
Must have an awareness and training in the IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
