Occupational Health Doctor

Job Purpose:

The Occupational Health Practitioner assists the Senior Medical Compliance Officer in developing, implementing, and delivering occupational health services and related educational programs for ENOC and its affiliates. This role focuses on promoting employee health, safety, and well-being by managing occupational health risks, providing medical care, and developing preventive programs to enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement compliant occupational health programs and policies
2. Conduct comprehensive health assessments and surveillance programs
3. Evaluate fitness for work and provide advice on individual management strategies
4. Collaborate on return-to-work programs and risk management initiatives
5. Analyze occupational health data to determine business risks and program effectiveness
6. Educate employees on health issues and workplace safety
7. Conduct periodic OH audits and follow up on improvement actions
8. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
9. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in occupational health

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Certified Physician from a recognized medical institution
• Licensed by DHA as Specialist Occupational Medicine
• MFOM / FFOM from RCPE or RCPI is mandatory

Experience:

• 10+ years in medicine with excellent clinical skills
• 5+ years in industry with strong knowledge of occupational health regulations
• Proven experience in occupational health assessments and managing work-related injuries

• Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical record systems
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound medical judgments
