We are looking to hire an experienced Nursery Manager for a reputable nursery located in Al Ain. The Nursery Manager will oversee the daily operations, academic programs, and overall nursery management. This role requires a passionate and skilled leader who can ensure a nurturing and safe learning environment, maintain high standards of care, and manage a dynamic team of educators. The Nursery Manager will collaborate with parents, staff, and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional educational experience that supports the developmental needs of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery ensuring smooth functionality and compliance with health and safety standards.
Lead, support, and mentor a team of educators and staff to maintain high-quality early childhood education practices.
Oversee the development and implementation of a stimulating, age-appropriate curriculum that meets the individual needs of children.
Monitor teaching and learning practices ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices in early years education.
Build strong relationships with parents fostering open communication and engagement in their children's educational journey.
Work closely with external authorities and professionals to enhance the nursery's standards and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Promote an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for children focusing on their physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being.
Plan and implement staff training and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, staff performance, and operational activities for reporting and evaluation.
Ensure confidentiality and uphold policies that protect the welfare of children and staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-5 years experience as a Nursery Manager in the UAE with demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong understanding of international early childhood education standards and practices.
Excellent command of written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
Native English-speaking candidates are preferred; female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience in developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula that support children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
Up-to-date knowledge of modern pedagogy, early years frameworks, and contemporary teaching strategies.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of educators and support staff.
Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations and compliance requirements in early years settings.
Proficiency in managing nursery operations including scheduling, budgeting, and staff development.
A valid teaching license or relevant certification recognized in the UAE.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
