NPI Engineer

Purpose of the Role

1. Oversee the end-to-end process of handling requests for “New Product Introduction (NPI).
2. Coordinate with request generators to acquire necessary information to complete the request and issue a unique part code.
3. Posting newly generated product information to respective platforms used across the company’s entities.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new products.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelors in engineering
2. Engineering diploma with previous experience in manufacturing of micro duct or plastic industry.
3. Should be well-versed in using computers and expertise in using MS Office.
4. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of duct and fibre optic manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple NPI projects and meet deadlines.
6. Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.
7. Communication Skills: Effective at liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
8. Software Proficiency: Experience with CableBuilder software and ERP systems.
9. Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
