NOC Network Security Engineer

We're Hiring: NOC Network Security Engineer!

We are seeking a skilled NOC Network Security Engineer with a strong background in network security to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in monitoring and managing network security operations, ensuring the integrity and availability of our systems.

What You'll Do

1. Proactively monitor and resolve Network incidents affecting the site and ensure maximum availability and performance.
2. NOC Engineer will perform these tasks using various standard network management tools, internal ticketing systems, and monitoring consoles.
3. Produce and maintain network infrastructure documentation based on architectural standards. This will include physical and logical designs and configurations.
4. Liaise and coordinate with other departments, service providers, external vendors and suppliers on all network related issues.
5. Produce complete implementation plans for any major change to the customer's network, identifying specific changes to be made, timelines for completion, and contingency or back-out plans.
6. Monitor the health of network infrastructure and act upon alert/issue arises. Schedule for network maintenance/upgrade and keep all affected users informed.
7. Work with architectural and design teams to ensure accuracy of designs and standards compliance.
8. Work with project management teams to ensure that project deliverables are understood, and timescales are committed to and met.
9. Provide project implementation support during business and occasionally out of business hours.

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in network security roles.
2. Proficient in firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
3. Hands-on experience on IP Addressing, Subnetting, VLSM and ARP, reverse & proxy ARP, Ping Concepts.
4. Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VPNs).
5. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
6. Required certifications: CCNP Security, FortiGate NSE 4, Palo Alto PNCSE.
