An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Auditor to join Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.

What you will be doing:

• Audit all daily room charges and local telephone charges (where automatic switchboards are used) to the guest ledger.
• Audit all other charges for the day previously posted to the guest ledger.
• Audit guest ledger charges from all departments and balance to control sheets (food and beverage cashiers reports, long distance traffic sheets, laundry control sheets, etc.).
• Check the Room Rates and get the signature of the Duty Manager confirming that all room rates are correct as per reservation card and approval.
• Determine guest ledger balances at the close of the day from control figures (D Report).
• Prepare a daily list of all guest ledger balances in excess of the pre-established balance (usually one week's room sales). One copy should go to the Manager, one to the Director of Finance, and one to the Income Auditor.
• Ensure that credit card sales tally with system postings.
• Ensure that C/L Bills are intact with all supporting and BTC letters.

• A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
• A can-do attitude for multitasking.
• Flexible to work 5 days a week on a rotation basis from Monday to Sunday.
• Someone with a positive attitude, a genuine customer service focus, and the technical ability to process the nightly audit of all front office transactions.
• A fast-thinking, customer-focused problem solver with initiative that takes pride in creating and delivering memorable guest experiences whilst ensuring that all daily revenue has been captured and reported on.
• Night Audit experience is highly regarded as this role will provide a great career path into other areas of operations or finance.
• Bachelor's in Finance or degree in vocational hospitality.
• 3-4 years experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
