Network Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the Network and Security Infrastructure in the Datacenters and THE CLIENT Campuses.
2. Oversee the Managed Service Contracts of Networks and Security Infrastructure.
3. Manage the Annual Maintenance Contract and Software Support subscription and contracts related to IT Infrastructure and ensure all of them are under valid support contract.
4. Manage the implementation of technical projects by directing and coordinating activities to ensure projects are completed on time.
5. Manage Etisalat Services (WAN Internet PRI) and coordinate with Etisalat Managed Services and Technical Support teams regarding link-related issues. Manage the Etisalat services payments.
6. Prepare the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) for all infrastructure-related projects, license subscriptions, and maintenance contracts, and coordinate with procurement to complete the APP.
7. Prepare the RFP documents for IT Infrastructure-related projects and coordinate the procurement process with the procurement department.
8. Maintain accurate documentation for Network and Security Infrastructure.
9. Manage the department's budget, track expenditure, and ensure they are within budget limits.
10. Raise the PR for all Infrastructure-related projects and contracts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in network engineering roles with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex network solutions.
3. Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and SDWAN.
4. Extensive hands-on experience with network routing, switching, and Wireless LAN from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HPE/Aruba.
5. Extensive hands-on experience with network security infrastructure from vendors such as PaloAlto firewalls, FortiGate firewalls, Infoblox DNS/DHCP, and Cisco FirePower IPS.
6. Extensive hands-on experience with F5 LTM, ASM, and APM configuration and management.
7. Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and technologies with experience deploying and managing networks in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and drive resolution.
9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
10. Relevant Certification from Cisco, PaloAlto, FortiGate, Infoblox, F5.
