noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform, launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE on December 12th, 2017, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done.

What you'll do:
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for your site and will work closely with the business and fellow engineers to implement and maintain critical infrastructure elements as well as provide day-to-day support to meet our operations' present and future business needs. Besides your daily activities, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in projects and innovate. Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Possess experience and proficiency in collaboration and telephony technologies, including Microsoft Teams, Asterisk, CUCM, CUBE, MGCP, H.323, SIP, UCCX, CUP, and UCS.
- Design, configure, and maintain telephony systems, such as PBX and VoIP solutions.
- Manage SIP trunks, phone lines, and extensions.
- Implement Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic.
- Maintain Cisco ASA and FTD Firewalls.
- Configure and install routers, Cisco wireless controllers & switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Manage Meraki cloud SDWAN Solution.
- Administer Cisco FMC.
- Build and manage Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Zabbix and netflow monitoring.
- Manage Azure cloud servers and virtual networks.
- Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including IDS/IPS, ASA, NGFW, VPN encryption, etc.
- Ability to manage and support IT support team build and deployment infrastructure.
- Manage ISP lines and maintain records.
- Support various infrastructure hardware/license procurement and maintain records.
- Provide end-user training and assist other team members with technical training.
- Able to work independently and as a team player, with high competency in multitasking and managing multiple engagements in parallel.
- Provide 24/7 operational support On-Site or On-premise.
- Expert in installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including switches, wireless controllers, routers, proxy servers, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
Network Infrastructure:
- Familiarity with network switching, routing, and hands-on experience with Cisco SDWAN and VOICE Cube Solution.
- Knowledge of network security, VPN, and NAC.
- Planning, indexing, and adjusting IP address databases using IP address management and tracking systems.
- Understanding of network wireless technologies such as Meraki.
- Ability to work on-site for setting up IT infrastructure along with Technical Engineers.
- Ability to provide support even outside of office hours for any critical downtime with our network infrastructure.
Cloud Technologies:
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
Monitoring and Automation:
- Familiarity with network monitoring solutions like Zabbix, Syslog, or Solarwinds.
- Familiarity with Azure and Cisco tools for recommended patch solutions using Tenable.
Network Support and Optimization:
- Provide 3rd line network support, offering advice as requested by users.
- Plan and execute complex network implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Conduct technical meetings with vendors and service providers to optimize workload and infrastructure resources.
- Review and analyze current production capacity to meet resource demand.
Documentation and Problem Resolution:
- Maintain documentation, trouble reports, and serviceability records for all networking hardware and software.
- Act as an escalation point for technical problems, determine equipment and software needs, and coordinate information system priorities.
- Ensure network systems' performance and security on a daily basis.
Process Improvement and Planning:
- Provide playbooks and root cause analysis for different services (Cisco and Microsoft servers in cloud or on-premise).
- Develop transitional plans for the acquisition and installation of equipment for all warehouses in different regions using SDWAN network solution (Cisco Meraki).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve network and telephony-related issues and perform voice debugging.
- Provide technical support to end-users for connectivity and telephony problems.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience.
Training and Certificate Qualifications:
- CCNA Routing and Switching.
- CCNP Routing and Switching or CCNP Enterprise certification.
- Cisco Meraki Certificates.
- CCNA/CCNP Collaboration certification (as an advantage).
- Azure Cloud certificate(s) (as an advantage).
Hardware Devices Familiarity:
- Cisco Meraki Appliances (MX67 series, MR AP Series, MS Switch Series, MV Series).
- Cisco Nexus and CATALYST Switches, 9732 series, 9500 series, 9300 series, 9200 w/ DNA, 4500, 3560, 3850, 3750, 2950, 2960 series).
- Cisco Security Routers and Voice gateways (4351, 4331, 4321, 2921).
- Cisco Firewalls (FTD’s and ASA) with Firepower Management Console (FMC2900) for FTD1200, 1400 series, FTD 2100 series including ASA Firewalls 5516, 5008, 5525 series with FTD.
- Cisco Wireless Controller 2504, 3504, 5525 and 9800 Catalyst series.
- Cisco Wireless Indoor Access point (C9116D, C9130, C1920, 2700, 2920 series).
