We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join a major financial institution in Switzerland and to oversee and maintain the global network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and efficient operation. This role requires a strong technical background in network technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to contribute to project implementations as a technical lead.

Responsibilities:
Operate the global network environment using Cisco technologies, DNS management, DDoS prevention, data center core components, and Network Access Control (NAC).
Ensure stable operation of the network infrastructure by promptly resolving network-related issues and keeping all components up to date with latest patches and configurations.
Implement network solutions as a technical lead and solution architect within project contexts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security standards.
Document network services, including network design documents and operational manuals to maintain clear documentation of configurations and processes.
Participate in the on-call rotation, providing support and resolution for network emergencies and critical incidents.
Profile Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or completed apprenticeship/similar education with relevant experience.
Certifications: IT network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, or equivalent, demonstrating proficiency in networking technologies.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in networking security areas, including routing, switching, firewall, proxy, and DNS management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ITIL methodologies, Linux operating systems, and shell scripting. Experience in designing and implementing network infrastructure.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
Work Ethic: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, take ownership of responsibilities, and perform well under pressure.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%) for project implementations and network assessments.
