Network and Security Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for implementation and support of computer Network and Security including:

1. Local Area Network (LAN)
2. Wireless LAN
3. Data Center Networking
4. Wide Area Network (WAN)
5. Security Firewalls

Responsibilities include:

1. Handle support jobs related to Network, Security, and Wireless.
2. Handle Project Implementation work assigned.
3. Provide hardware and software support for CNS customers.
4. Advise the customer on any enhancements.
5. Vendor Coordination on Hardware/Software Replacement/Support.
6. Provide additional solutions or recommendations for enhancement.
7. Provide training if required for customers.
8. Provide inputs for design.
9. Prepare Scope of work for implementation.
10. Conduct site surveys and meetings with customers.
11. Implement active network for customers.
12. Infrastructure Management and Support for CNS.
13. Support on any hardware and software related issues for CNS.
14. Recommend enhancements for CNS infrastructure.
15. Training for CNS staff and colleagues.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electronics.
Certifications:

1. Active CCIE Security certification (LAB Exam Qualified).
2. Active Fortinet NSE 4, NSE 5 and NSE 7.
3. Preferably hold CCNP Wireless or Cisco Meraki.
4. Preferably hold the F5 certification (LTM/ASM Certification).
5. Preferably hold Palo Alto Network Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).

Experience Requirements:
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on various networking and security technologies and products like Router, Switches, Firewall, and Enterprise Wireless LAN Products.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience on Cisco ACI.
Good knowledge on SDWAN technology (Fortinet and Cisco).
Strong hands-on skills on Routing and Switching, SSL offloading, Web Application Firewall and Application Policy Manager, IPSEC and SSL VPN products, SIEM, Sandboxing products, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Email Security Appliance, Web Security Appliance, Multi-Factor Authentication, NAC, LTM/GTM.
Field experience on requirement gathering/analysis.
Strong skills to prepare High Level and Low Level documents.
Good knowledge of security-related protocols (SSL, IPSEC, SSH).
Good knowledge and hands-on experience of Fortigate Firewall/FortiMail on the OCI Cloud.
