NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

DESIGNATION: NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

JOB ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure uninterrupted network connectivity for all services.
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades. Monitor the network to ensure optimal performance.
• Create technical support documentation for systems and applications. Install and administer anti-virus console and clients.
• Resolve issues related to anti-virus on individual PCs. Install and implement backup systems and policies. Monitor backup success and resolve backup issues. Recover and restore user data from backups.
• Manage and monitor Office 365 services. Implement email and data retention policies.
• Handle issues elevated by the junior network administrator. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NEC IP telephone systems. Define network policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION:

Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent diploma. Cisco or Microsoft certification.

EXPERIENCE:

8-10 years of UAE experience managing the above.

1. Windows domain and user accounts
2. HP switches and routers - installation and configuration
3. Firewall and VPN installation and configuration - preferably Fortigate
4. Windows level configurations and troubleshooting

SALARY RANGE: AED 7,000 - AED 8,000 per month
