We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatologist to join our esteemed medical team. In this pivotal role, the Neonatologist will provide expert care to critically ill newborns, addressing a variety of medical conditions and ensuring the highest quality of life for our youngest patients. You will work in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and comprehensive neonatal care.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of newborn patients and diagnosing medical conditions
Providing advanced medical care, including the management of ventilators and therapeutic interventions
Developing individualized treatment plans based on the latest clinical guidelines
Communicating effectively with parents and families regarding treatment options and prognoses
Participating in continuing education and research initiatives to improve neonatal care
Maintaining meticulous medical records and documentation
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatology
Board certification in Neonatology is required
Active medical license in the state of practice
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a NICU setting preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neonatal medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
