Minimum Roles and Responsibilities

• To take all precautions to protect the environment.
• Work in such manner as to ensure self-safety as well as that of co-workers.
• Avail themselves of company internal and any other required training programs as and when required by the management.
• Participate in the daily toolbox talks and follow the instructions from the site coordinators/crew leaders.
• Use and maintain all safety devices provided for execution of job as delegated.
• Maintain and properly use all tools under their control and use the right tools for the job.
• Report for work in clothing suitable for work, ensuring that clothes and jewelry worn do not constitute a hazard.
• Perform the work in a safe and alert manner and be aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.
• Do not sacrifice their own or others' safety to perform their duties.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing in accordance with approved procedural requirements.
• Be able to perform Hardness Testing, PMI, and Ferrite upon receiving the equipment familiarization training and training on procedural/code requirements.
• Able to identify the technique used as per the requirement.
• Able to perform necessary calibrations and demonstrations as per the project-specific approved procedures.
• Verify the joint details as per the request provided by the client.
• Classify indications that arise from actual discontinuities and weld geometry.
• Interpret the specific code requirements related to applicable NDT methods UT, MT, and PT.
• Interpret the sensitivity requirements and evaluate the indications as per the acceptance criteria.
• Prepare final UT, MT, and PT reports as per the approved report formats.
• Maintain the equipment along with accessories by regular cleaning and ensure they are kept safe after the completion of activity.
• Maintain the necessary calibration certificates on file and notify the office prior to their expiry.
• Perform inspection activities as per project scope and site conditions to avoid waiting and wastage of resources.
