Multi Inspector (Welding / Painting & Coating)

We are hiring for Multi Inspector to join our team.

Inspect fit-up, welding, and installation of prefabricated piping spools and supports per isometric drawings.

Verify NDT, PWHT, PMI, hardness tests, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Oversee hydro tests, air/steam blowing, bolt torque tightening, and boiler duct installation.

Inspect stack assembly, economizer, superheater welds, burners, valves, ladders, and steel structures.

Conduct walk-down inspections, punch clearance, chemical cleaning, and final release.

Supervise blasting, painting, coating, and DFT inspections as per standards.

Perform material identification, heat verification, and visual examination of welds before NDT.

Inspect structural, piping, and pressure vessel fabrication, ensuring compliance with client specifications.

Review WPS, PQR, welding parameters, and sub-vendor fabrication activities. Verify incoming material conformity, raw materials, marking, and MTC correlation.

Conduct edge preparation, colour coding, and surface inspection for overlay applications.

Ensure calibration of welding equipment, proper welding processes, and consumables per WPS.

Monitor in-process welding parameters, including preheat, inter-pass temperatures, and heat input.

Review weld overlay thickness, ultrasonic bond testing, and liquid penetrant testing.

Validate testing reports, PWHT, hydrotest, surface preparation, and painting inspections.

Oversee flange face inspection, serration checks, tagging, and dispatch verification.

Ensure compliance with international standards and client-specific requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or relevant technical discipline.

Experience: 9+ years in welding, piping, and coating inspection in oil & gas.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

• Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Excellent communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of HSE standards and industry best practices.
