We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled MSD365 Technical Consultant to combine strong technical skills on MSD365 (Finance and Supply Chain Management Modules in F&O and related MS Technology Platforms) with an understanding of related business processes and the functional application interface.
While the candidate needs to be able to understand business requirements quickly and to visualize and transform them into a system solution design, the focus will be on the technical implementation, including the stage of the actual development, integration, and automation. Utilizing Microsoft's tools and technologies for MSD365, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Visual Studio if necessary. Analyzing Consulting Development/Configuring/Customization Testing, Deployment, and Training/Documentation.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in a multi-national environment in an operational environment with high demand in warehousing, inventory, production, procurement, master data, and financial process- and system optimization.
Tasks
- Understanding business requirements and recommending existing functionality or technical design solutions
- Creating technical specifications
- Customizing MSD365 by utilizing the provided MS Power Platform tools
- Occasionally understanding, maintaining, and improving Visual Studio code enhancements for MSD365
- Integration and Automation Development for MSD365 and underlying systems (mainly Webservice, File-Exchange, and DB integration endpoint development)
- Plan and manage releases for MSD365 improvements. Improving and stabilizing the overall System Architecture by moving as many customizations as possible away from the core-system and moving them into the level of front-end/Power Platform Solution Package for faster and stable updates/upgrades going forward. Involvement in third-party System Integrations to MSD365 (e.g. Vendor Portal)

Skill and Experience Requirements
Business
- Deep understanding of the MSD365 user functionality in the F & SCM modules
- Business Process understanding in Supply Chain and Finance (including Warehouse and Inventory Management, Procure to Pay process, Finance and Budgeting, Master Data Management)
Technical
- Minimum 5 years of technical customization and development experience on MSD365 (F & SCM modules) in an international environment
- Integration and Automation development experience on MSD365, including experience in Power Automate, Webservice Development, SQL, and X-language-family (XML, XSLT)
- Technical knowledge and experience on the MS Power Platform family (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot). This includes Customizations on native MSD Form Entities, as well as Stand-Alone Applications (e.g. Mobile App for the Warehouse), integrated to the MSD entities and processes by utilizing the MS Data Verse and other license-optimized system-architecture approaches
- Experience and skills in simplifying and optimizing role-based forms and setups of the native MSD User Interface
- Visual Studio Development experience on MSD365, including skills in .Net, Visual Basic, JavaScript, SQL
- Deep knowledge of the MSD365 MSSQL DB and Table structure. T-SQL scripting skills
Location
Possible remote or hybrid (occasional travel to sites might be requested). Remote location must have stable connectivity. Uptime and availability must be secured during Business Hours + occasionally in urgent cases and during updates/upgrades out-of-business hours.
