Job Description

• Analyze motor insurance applications to assess risk levels and determine appropriate coverage options tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize advanced data analytics tools to evaluate historical claims data and predict future risks, enhancing underwriting accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with agents and brokers to gather necessary information for decision-making, ensuring a seamless communication process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting strategies and practices.
• Engage in negotiations with clients concerning terms and conditions of motor insurance contracts, balancing risk with profitability.
• Conduct regular reviews of existing policies to identify opportunities for renewal, adjustments, or improvements in coverage.
• Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and policies that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in insurance underwriting are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in motor underwriting or a closely related insurance field to demonstrate proficiency.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
