Job description

We are seeking a qualified Mortgage Advisor to join our team in the UAE. The Mortgage Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients seeking mortgage financing for property purchases. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending regulations, and market trends in the UAE real estate sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of clients to determine their mortgage eligibility and affordability.
  2. Provide personalized mortgage advice and recommendations tailored to clients' financial situations and objectives.
  3. Educate clients on various mortgage products, terms, and options available in the market.
  4. Guide clients through the mortgage application process, including gathering required documentation and liaising with lenders.
  5. Analyse and compare mortgage offers from multiple lenders to help clients secure the most favourable terms and rates.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage regulations, interest rates, and market trends affecting the real estate industry in the UAE.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, developers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and loan processors, to ensure smooth and timely mortgage approvals and closings.
  9. Keep accurate records of client interactions, applications, and mortgage transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  10. Achieve sales targets and submit sales reports to the reporting manager.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Ability to work independently and handle a team.
  3. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in selling mortgage products; experience in selling other banking products is an added advantage.
  4. In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending practices, and regulations in the UAE.
  5. Proven track record of successfully closing mortgage deals and meeting sales targets.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
