Mobile Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations across various job sites in the city.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and place materials and equipment according to project requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of crane equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Interpret and follow load charts, site plans, and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with ground personnel and other team members using hand signals and radio equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on crane equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Assist in planning lift operations and determining appropriate rigging methods.
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a mobile crane operator.
• Valid mobile crane operator certification (e.g. NCCCO).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in operating various types of mobile cranes.
• In-depth knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts accurately.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, and perform crane operations in various weather conditions.
• Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of construction site operations and familiarity with rigging techniques.
• Willingness to work in various construction sites across Dubai.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.
