Responsibilities:

1. Develop and evolve the culture of Test Automation across the dubizzle products to handle complexity.
2. Agree standards and define quality procedures in conjunction with other QA team members.
3. Provide a framework for the development team to define the quality standard using techniques such as code coverage analysis, acceptance criteria, etc.
4. Enhance build pipelines and help the team move forward towards continuous delivery (CD).
5. Help write and maintain automated tests across the test pyramid.
6. Help the team plan and execute different types of tests using test strategies like agile testing quadrants and Heuristic Test Strategy Model.
7. Own the quality standards of the dubizzle platform by continuously innovating.
8. Strive towards reducing the time-to-release metric while ensuring bug-free release.
9. Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance.
10. Mentor other QA Engineers in automation tools and best practices.
11. Collaborate with Engineering managers and developers to streamline the process of testing, building, and release.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Test automation engineer with 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with setting up Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment pipelines.
• Experience with writing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• At least 2 years of experience with Mobile test Automation.
• Previous experience in test automation for an event-driven, service-oriented architecture would be another big plus.
• Strong insight into automated testing using more than 2 frameworks.
• Understanding of manual testing with the latest trends and matrix.
• Should have good practical knowledge of Appium and Selenium with various bindings like Python or Ruby, Java, etc.
• Good working knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadUI.
• Programming skills in Python or Java or swift.
• Test frameworks which support BDD, such as cucumber and lettuce behave.
• Build tools such as maven, gradle, make, and rake.
• Web app automation tools such as Selenium/Webdriver.
• Mobile app automation tools such as Appium, XCUITest.
• In-depth working knowledge of continuous integration tools/tech such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Bamboo.
