Job Title: Mobile and Web App Developer (Magento)

Location: DIP2

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile and Web App Developer with a strong background in Magento both 1.x and 2.x to join our innovative team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining high-quality eCommerce web and mobile applications.

Job Summary:

As a Mobile and Web App Developer, you will leverage your expertise in Magento and PHP to design, develop, and implement robust eCommerce solutions. You will work on a range of projects, from enhancing existing eCommerce platforms to creating new cutting-edge mobile applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. eCommerce Development:

   Develop, customize, and maintain Magento eCommerce websites (Magento 1.x and 2.x) to meet business requirements and improve user experience. Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.

2. Mobile Application Development:

   Develop and integrate mobile applications with eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. Implement responsive design principles to ensure mobile applications are optimized for various devices.

3. Technical Specifications and Architecture:

   Define technical specifications and system architecture for eCommerce solutions and mobile applications. Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

   Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend and mobile applications with existing systems.

5. Performance Optimization:

   Monitor and optimize the performance of Magento sites and mobile applications to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability. Implement best practices for SEO and web performance.

6. Troubleshooting and Support:

   Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Magento eCommerce platforms and mobile applications. Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure the continued functionality and improvement of eCommerce systems.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

   Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, code changes, and system configurations. Prepare regular reports on project status, milestones, and technical challenges.

Technical Specifications:

1. Magento Expertise: Extensive experience with Magento 1.x and 2.x, including module development, theme customization, and performance optimization.
2. PHP Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks.
3. eCommerce Experience: Proven track record in developing and maintaining eCommerce web and mobile applications.
4. Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks/libraries.
5. Mobile Development: Experience with mobile app development frameworks and tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter, or similar).
6. Database Management: Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including performance tuning and query optimization.
7. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in web and mobile app development with a focus on Magento and eCommerce solutions.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED 5000.00 - AED 8000.00 per month
