What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the bar to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• Cocktails are your passion; you will assist with creating and maintaining the beverage menus our hotel will offer exceeding our guests' expectations every time.
• You will also be in charge of training and mentoring the entire restaurant team with a focus on cocktails ensuring their knowledge is second to none and they are able to assist our guests in the best possible way.
• You are aware of the latest trends and continuously innovate to ensure our offering remains at the very top of what is being offered around the world.

• You are aware of revenue targets and ensuring these are achieved and exceeded; simultaneously all costs are controlled within preset budgets including beverage cost and other expenses.
• By taking part in a daily team briefing pre-service, you ensure you are well informed of the daily happenings around the hotel as well as the upcoming service.
• During your daily routine, you liaise with other departments when required to ensure an immaculate presentation of your outlet and high standards of cleanliness as well as maintenance are upheld at all times including restaurant furniture, equipment, floors, fixtures, and fittings.
• In collaboration with your service team, you ensure fantastic quality of beverage preparation, presentation, and beverage inventory control.

What you'll bring:

• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• As a detail-oriented and hands-on team player with strong interpersonal skills, you will thrive on mentoring high potential team members to achieve better results and celebrate success within the team.
• You are passionate about our industry and are aware of all the latest F&B trends and developments around the world.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Other languages including Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish, or German are highly desirable.
• You will have a relevant professional certification or hotel school diploma and bring a wealth of past experience working for luxury hotels and restaurants in the Middle East.
• Experience in a World's 50 Best cocktail bar or accolades from a recognized Cocktail Competition are highly desirable.
