MIS Analyst – AF Finance

Al Futtaim Finance (AFF), a Central Bank of UAE regulated entity, is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the Al-Futtaim Group, the leading business conglomerate of UAE. AFF specializes in providing a range of innovative consumer finance products to customers across the UAE.

The job holder will analyze MIS processes and modify/develop system tools/applications to simplify tasks and enhance information management process at AFF.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to the business by utilizing, enhancing and maintaining existing management information systems (MIS).
2. Develop, generate and distribute standard, periodic and ad hoc reports in an accurate and timely manner as agreed with users by performing data analysis for generating reports as required.
3. Analyze business process and information flow for data capture, process automation, measurements and analysis to support the business to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Provide end user support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution and conduct end user training as required.
5. Develop MIS documentation, SOPs/Operating Instructions to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.

The successful candidate will have:

1. A degree in IT or related technical certifications.
2. 3+ years' experience in using SQL Server 2008 for OLAP.
3. Strong VBA Development Skills (Specifically using VBA in Excel 2010) with at least 3 years proven experience in using Excel as an MIS reporting tool.
4. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts, including VBA/OLAP/ETL processes (csv/excel file import/export), dimensional modelling, datamarts and reporting tools.
5. Experience in building data warehouse/OLAP using SQL Server/Power Pivot; .NET development with relevant certification will be an added advantage.
