Mid- VMware vSphere, NSX & HP Synergy Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with extensive expertise in VMware technologies, including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware NSX, alongside HP Synergy infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a highly available, scalable, and secure virtualized enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, and virtual machines.
• Implement and optimize VMware NSX for network virtualization, micro-segmentation, and security policies.
• Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) for integrated compute, storage, and networking automation.
• Administer HP Synergy composable infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking components.
• Ensure high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and scalability of VMware environments.
• Implement network security best practices, including firewall policies, access controls, and segmentation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize VMware and HP Synergy environments.
• Maintain disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans for VMware infrastructure.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-12+ years of hands-on experience with VMware technologies.
• Expertise in VMware NSX (network virtualization, micro-segmentation, and security).
• Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) for infrastructure management.
• Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SRM/Zerto.
• Hands-on experience with HP Synergy, HPE OneView, and HP ProLiant/BladeSystem servers.
• Familiarity with storage solutions (SAN/NAS), networking, and virtualization best practices.
• Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and automation tools (PowerCLI, Ansible, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher, NSX-T, and VCF certifications.
• Experience with Citrix, OpenShift, security hardening, and hybrid cloud integration.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and change control processes.
