Job Overview:

Blue City Steel Engineering LLC is seeking a skilled Metal Polisher to join our dynamic team. As a Metal Polisher, you will be responsible for polishing, grinding, and finishing metal surfaces to a high-quality standard. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal finishing, and the ability to work with various metal alloys, ensuring a polished and professional result. Experience in related fields such as welding, fabrication, and assembly will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Polish and smooth metal surfaces using various tools and techniques to achieve the required finish.
• Inspect metal surfaces for defects and imperfections before polishing.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and polishing machines to perform tasks.
• Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring all metal parts are finished to customer specifications.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and deliver quality results.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Operate and maintain polishing and grinding equipment, ensuring they remain in good working order.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure proper polishing processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Metal Polisher or in a related role in the metalworking or steel engineering industry.
• Knowledge of metal polishing techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Experience with polishing and finishing of various metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and others.
• Ability to handle various polishing machinery and tools effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Good understanding of safety protocols in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
• Previous experience in welding, fabrication, or assembly is a plus.
