Job description

Job Title - Merchandise Planner

Type: Outsourced

Contract Duration: 4 Months

Work Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 5500 - AED 6000

Working Days & Timings: 5-days work and standard hours

Mandatory Skills: Inventory, Purchase order, Excel, Stocks

Job Description:

  1. Processing Return to Vendor requests in a timely manner.
  2. Creating the Masterfile ensuring accurate and correct data enrichment.
  3. Validating Order Confirmations against Invoices and orders.
  4. Ensuring Shipment Trackers are maintained, delivery dates managed, and deviations escalated to planners and buyers.
  5. Creating new items, purchase orders and maintaining cost and retail price changes.
  6. Controlling inventories at the store level to maximize sales, inventory and profitability.
  7. Reviewing Supplier and Warehouse Replenishment orders based on model stock and trends to achieve optimal sales, profit and inventory performance.
  8. Tracking and managing special orders and customer requests.
  9. Collecting and providing information to the planner and buyer to analyze product performance per store.
  10. Ensuring team results, relationships and processes are aligned with the Company’s mission and values.
  11. Ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of merchandising work processes.
  12. Compiling communication and coordinating with the stores regarding new launches, product discontinuation, price changes and brand/item focus.
