Job Description

• Oversee the installation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities, managing a diverse team of subcontractors and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or deficiencies in MEP installations, addressing them proactively.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and compliance records.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely completion of MEP tasks within project timelines.
• Facilitate effective communication between different trades to minimize conflicts and delays on-site.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor resource allocation, including materials and manpower, to maintain project efficiency and budget adherence.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members, resolving on-site challenges promptly.
• Engage in regular project meetings, contributing valuable insights and updates on MEP progress and challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing engineering, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years in MEP supervision on large-scale construction projects.
• Certification in Project Management or relevant MEP standards such as ASHRAE or NFPA is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills in Arabic or other regional languages preferred.
• Hands-on experience with local codes, regulations, and industry standards in MEP installations.
• Strong technical skills in MEP design software and tools, coupled with a solid understanding of BIM technology.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability, allowing for quick resolution of on-site issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team on-site.
• A proactive approach towards safety and compliance, with a track record of maintaining a safe work environment.
• Physical fitness to perform site inspections and navigate construction environments efficiently.
