MEP Project Engineer

Role: SOLUTIONS ENGINEER (MEP/HVAC)

Profile: Solutions Design Scope & Design

1. Air Quality solutions utilizing the range of technologies available and the budget guidelines
2. Update technical information, CAD Drawings & layout updates
3. Calculate BOQ & update pricing matrix for project scope, commercials and execution guidelines
4. Provide client with all submittal documents
5. Maintain profitability of the projects by ensuring the right pricing and cost management
6. Update all the files on internal templates of the organization
7. Submit the Proposals / Tender Documents as per desired template/format

Project Planning

1. Project planning & review execution against project scope (from the solution design process)
2. Manage scope creep/changes/amendments through professional communication with all stakeholders
3. Sourcing, pricing information collection, and also identifying suppliers for new products / technologies
4. Monitoring project lifecycle reporting and process improvement along with the project management control report
5. Maintaining proper records of all the above

Records Management & Reporting

1. Manage accurate and timely (daily) records for all activities, procurements, purchases and maintenance records for all customers/projects

Presentation, Product Information & Other documentation:

1. Create updated tender templates, product information templates and other submission documents like Project reports, submittals, etc.
2. Ensure all the data is accurate and relevant to each project/client submission

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
2. Minimum 5 years of related experience as a consultant/MEP Engineer/Design Engineer (HVAC / Air Quality/ MEP industry)
3. Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD
5. Knowledge and understanding of specifications process along with relevant documentation
6. Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace.
7. Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies.
8. Effective time management skills.
9. Strong MS Office skills
