MEP MECHANICAL ESTIMATION ENGINEER

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, and cost evaluations for MEP mechanical systems. Applicants must be currently in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Perform material take-offs, quantity surveys, and pricing based on project requirements.
• Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive and accurate costing.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and estimation reports in accordance with project scope.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to align cost estimates with technical requirements.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and provide clarifications during the tendering process.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.
• Maintain updated records of pricing, labor costs, material rates, and subcontractor information.
• Experience in MEP projects within the UAE, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
• Familiarity with international and UAE-specific codes and standards.
• Ability to analyze technical specifications and prepare accurate BOQs. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of local UAE market rates and suppliers.
• Availability: Must be able to join immediately in Abu Dhabi.
