Design & Development: Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems for modular buildings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and functional requirements.
System Integration & Coordination: Coordinate MEP systems within modular units, collaborating with BIM teams and ensuring smooth integration with other building systems.
Project Support & Communication: Provide technical guidance, support project teams, and ensure MEP systems are installed and commissioned on schedule and within budget.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure systems meet building codes, sustainability standards (e.g., LEED), and perform quality checks on-site.
Troubleshooting & Sustainability: Resolve technical issues, optimize energy efficiency, and suggest improvements for sustainable MEP solutions.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical drawings and reports, track system progress, and report any delays or issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's or certifications in MEP/sustainability a plus).
Experience: 3-5 years in MEP engineering, with modular or prefabricated construction experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and knowledge of building codes, energy modelling, and sustainable practices.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with attention to detail.
